AMBC in conjunction with MTBSkills.com.au will be running the last of their “Getting race ready” skills sessions for the year at Fox Creek on Sunday November 2nd.

Aimed at novice to intermediate riders this course will give you some expert skills instruction and a preview of the upcoming state championships course.

Don’t forget registration also includes a free entry into the race!

2014 State Championships

With less than 1 month to go, the 2014 State Championships page has been updated with a lot of useful information. Check out the page here.

Registrations open tomorrow morning – 21st Oct – at 9:00am and close Sat 15th Nov 2014 at 10:00am.

Take head of the registration close – STRICTLY ON-LINE ENTRIES ONLY.

There will be no late entries. You have been warned.

If you’re interested in learning how to time keep at races please email timing@ambc.asn.au for more info. We are looking to build up a small team of time keepers who can share the load of races and enable time keepers to race as well.

Here are the revised (as of 13 Nov 2013) results for the AMBC State Champs held 10 Nov 2013 at Fox Creek.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a quality race – 107 competitors all up on the day and some strong fields out there!

State Championships Reminder!

Race day is fast approaching and registration cut off is even sooner. SO, don’t forget to register before Saturday 10am! We are printing plates for this race so there will be no space for late entries!

MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK YOUR START TIME. There are two main start times – 09:30am and 11:30am. Specific start orders will be announced on the day once you’re all raring to go at the start line.

With that in mind, ALL COMPETITORS will be required to pick up a race plate at registration. At the same time, you will pick up your $10 voucher for Anderson Hill Winery that can be used to procure any of their food and beverages. We will also be holding presentations after the final competitor has crossed the line at the winery at approximately 2:00pm.

The lap for the state champs has been confirmed. Thanks to Jason Morrison for doing the scouting and Marc Fox for marking it out prior to race day (later in the week). The lap GPS info is available here.
