Summer Series Round 1 Results
Results are up for the first round of the summer series! Turned out to be some pretty spectacular weather and ideal conditions for racing. If you spot any errors in the results, email timing@ambc.asn.au by Thursday 18:00 and we can discuss.
The next summer series round is now also open for registration. We head to Eagle MTB Park for something a little more MTB oriented – although you’re welcome to try on your CX bike if you’re game! See the the bottom of the post for links to rego and info.
Remember that there will be no late entries this year, so make sure you get in before cut-off at 10am Saturday before the race.

State Champs results are up
Preliminary results are up on the results page. They will be finalised at 6:00pm Wednesday. If you have any questions, please send an email to timing@ambc.asn.au
Thanks to David Knight and Evan James for laying out a good tough course. Apparently just over 1,000m of climbing for the 6 laps – I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge!
Thanks to all who volunteered to help out to make this race happen.
Next “race” is on the 6th Dec and will be a pony express – one junior and/or female required per team. No official timing and we will be drawing the raffle for the Giant Bike – two race entries throughout the year will get you in the draw, BUT, you have to be there to win it! More details to follow soon.

The series prize money pays down to 10th place in both elite fields, so long as you qualified – 2 x Enduro and 2 x XCO events.

The next race is the State Champs at Fox Creek on 16th Nov 2014. Entries will open Tuesday 21st Oct at 09:00am and the website will be updated very soon. For this race we revert to MTBA age categories. To accommodate for this we’ll be issuing fresh plates.
We’ll also be doing a race plate muster/collection so bring any and all race plates you have back so we can do a stock take.
If you’re interested in learning how to time keep at races please email timing@ambc.asn.au for more info. We are looking to build up a small team of time keepers who can share the load of races and enable time keepers to race as well.
