Adelaide MTB Club’s first race for 2014 is on this weekend. Round 1 of the Summer series at Eagle Park is the perfect opportunity for new riders to get a taste of what MTB racing is all about, and for those more experienced racers, a chance to hone their skills on a course that takes in much of the following weekend’s MTBA National Round. The course will be prepared and setup by Friday afternoon and for those wanting a guided lap of the course, a preview ride has been organised for Saturday morning, meeting at 9:15 for 9:30 start, at the Eagle MTB Park main gate off the old freeway. Please note, there will be no on-the-day registration, this event is strictly on line registration only. Registrations close the day prior at 10am.
AMBC is also helping to host round 1 of the Mountain Bike Australia National Series at Eagle on the 17 – 19th of Jan. If your not planning on racing and can spare a few hours to help with registration or course marshaling (no experience required), please email racevolunteers@ambc.asn.
