Cobbler’s Course

Here’s the course map for the upcoming AMBC Cobbler Creek 4 hour. A reminder that the event is to be held on Sunday 24th June, with registration closing at 10:00am on Saturday 23rd. Please be mindful of trail conditions if you plan to pre-ride the course in preparation for the event!

Design AMBCs next logo and win!

The Adelaide Mountain Bike Club would like to update its look and we’re asking you, the members for your ideas and designs.

 

The updated logo will feature as part of a new website and social media design and be
incorporated into the upcoming release of a 2018 apparel range including Race Jersey, Trail Jersey, Socks, Stickers and Bottles.

 

The winner will receive their choice of Jersey (race or trail), a pair of socks and a water bottle.

 

Entries will be shortlisted by the club committee before the Eagle MTB Park XCO round with members voting on their favourite design.

 

The winning design will be unveiled at the State Championships on 4 th November.

Crucial design elements:

  • 2 formats required, wide (For headers) and narrow (1:1 aspect for social media).

  • Must feature the words Adelaide Mountain Bike Club (wide format) or AMBC (Narrow).

  • Logo must showcase MTB (No clip art of a roadie crank)

  • Bonus points for elements specific to Adelaide.

Conditions:

  • Entries close 28th July 2018

  • Must be a current AMBC member to enter

  • Logo/design becomes property of AMBC

AMBC Cobbler Creek 4 Hour

Our last 4 hour Enduro race for the year is at Cobbler Creek on the 24th June! With Cobbler’s wide and flowy trail style, we’re looking forward to some fun for everyone. This race is a great opportunity for newer riders to get involved, so come along!
 
Enduro races can be completed Solo, or as a Duo (team of two, relay style). This allows for riders of all skills and abilities to get involved and challenge themselves accordingly!

8:15 AM REGO OPEN
9:00 AM START TIME
1:00 PM Course closed– No riders allowed to continue racing, unless already on course.
 
RACE COURSE INFO
The course will use trails only in the Cobbler Creek trail network. The course map will be posted as soon as possible on the event page. This is approximately 10km long and about 35 minutes for elite riders. Times may vary significantly due to track conditions.
 
PARKING
Parking will be directed on race day. The gate to the park will close at 2pm at the latest. After 2pm the gate will be closed.
 
VOLUNTEERS
We need you. These races happen with the good work done by our vollies. If you are available to help set up or pack up or assist with anything else please get in touch with Aurelia Strozik via email: racevolunteers@ambc.asn.au

AMBC Craigburn Farm 4 Hour

Did you love the Prospect Hill 4 hour or what?! Keen for some trails closer to the city that are perhaps more familiar?! Join us on Sunday the 27th of May for the first round of the AMBC 4 Hour Enduro Series, brought to you by Hammer Nutrition, BD Farm Paris Creek and BikeCorp.
