Race start: There are two start times, 9:30am (women, juniors, 60+, 70+ men) and 11:30am (everyone else)

There is no transponder hire anyore and you don’t need to own one either. We still use one but its included in your race entry along with the race plate.
VOLUNTEERS – The club races wouldn’t be possible without our fabulous volunteers that help out. If you are able to help out this sunday or your cheer squad is able to help out then please contact Robyn on racevolunteers@ambc.asn.au . We are particularly in need of help with race set up and pack up.
MEMBERSHIP – If your membership has expired or you’re not a member then now is a great time to renew and avoid paying a $25 day license. Racing as a club member works out cheaper if you plan on racing all the club events and your membership will also allow you to race at a discounted cost at other mtba affiliated events (GESA, Inside Line, PACC Cyclocross). LOCATION – Make sure you rock up to Fox Creek this sunday morning. Entry is off Croft Rd at the triangle just down the road a tiny bit from Anderson Hill Winery. The gates will be open on race day so drive in and follow the main fireroad to the parking area. For details on the park and how to get there click here
ROAD CLOSURES – If you are travelling from the north then make sure you allow plenty of time to get to fox as there are some road closures in place. Fox Creek Road is closed from intersection with Croft and Coldstore Roads for approx 2km towards Cudlee Creek Road. I also noticed a rd closure on lobethal road near swamp road in lenswood. COURSE MAP – The lap is around 5.5km long with 160m of climbing. The first half is the techy part of the lap opening up into fast flow trail before climbing up spooky forest and making your way back to the start/finish along dynamic tension. Dave our race director will be setting up the course Friday around 9am, if you’re avaiable to help out then he would love a hand. Please email him on racedirector@ambc.asn.au.
