The track will be re assessed first up in the morning. If needed the race laps will be shortened as a first option. If it is deemed that the track is un race able the event will be cancelled. The final call would be made at 8.15am. But at this stage the event is proceeding. Any change to this will be posted on the club phone at 8.15am and on Website and Facebook page.
Register here for round 1 of the Giant XCO Series at Eagle MTB Park this Sunday 18th August. Please note, there will be no on-the-day registration, this event is strictly online registration only. Registrations close the day prior at 10am.
The XCO series page has been updated with relevant race information for this years series – such as start and finish times (they have changed), presentations, sign-on and race plate info.
If you would like to volunteer some time before each race start to help out at registration please contact timing@ambc.asn.au . First run registration is 08:30 – 09:20; second run registration is 10:30 – 11:20. All tricky questions will be handled, so it will just be to help hand out race packs.

Unfortunately, due to a severely low number of entries for the GESA Melrose event, we regrettably have to announce it’s cancellation. We don’t feel the low number of competitors would contribute to an enjoyable competitive event.
Our apologies to anyone who may have made plans to head to Melrose for the weekend to compete in the GESA event, however, don’t let it stop you from heading up there to ride some of Australia’s best trails. Refunds to happen in the coming days.
Refunds for competitors who entered for the cancelled race have now been processed. If you do not receive a refund by Friday 26 July 2013 and feel you should have, please email timing@ambc.asn.au
Due to the extreme weather conditions forecast this weekend including thunderstorms, hail, low temperatures and up to 60mm of rain in Crafers West between Friday and Monday AMBC have taken the decision to cancel this Sundays 4hr XC Enduro. Those people already entered will be contacted soon regarding refunds.
