July 28th XCO now at Craigburn Farm

The second round of the AMBC XCO Series is being held at Craigburn Farm on the 28th of July 2019. Due to circumstances outside of our control, we’ve had to make another venue change from our original plans.
 
A fast paced, technical race is in store, and we can guarantee a great time. Thanks to our sponsors Schwalbe tyres, Bikecorp and Hammer Nutrition for making these events possible.

Self seeded, ability based categories for XC racing.

9:00am Start-
A Grade Women: 5 laps
B Grade Women: 4 Laps
C Grade Women: 3 laps
Junior A: 3 Laps
Junior B: 2 Laps
 
11:00am Start
A Grade Men: 6 laps
B Grade Men: 5 laps
C Grade Men: 4 laps
D Grade Men: 3 laps
 
(*Wet or hot weather may alter the lap count and course of racing.)
(**All lap counts are subject to change at any time at the race director’s discretion. All entrants will be notified.)
 
RACE DETAILS
8:15am: SIGN ON
9:00am: FEMALE + JUNIOR GRADES START
10.30am: PRESENTATION (early grades) (approximate time)
11:00am: MALE GRADES START
12:30pm: PRESENTATION (approximate time)
 
PARKING
Parking will be directed on race day. Orderly parking will be maintained along Craigburn Road, the gate being open until 2pm. Please follow all event signage.

** Suggested laps per grade based on a 15 minute Elite (A Grade) lap time. This is a guide only and the number of laps is variable due to different venues and different track conditions.
 
FEES
$30- all senior riders
$20- all junior riders
+$25 for an MtBA day license.
