Let's hope it's a quick process

From the same "no riding" as we have a year or so ago, to a discussion paper with open comments, to actually acting on it by putting out plans for change.

They've covered in two years what has taken SA 10 - and are moving forward whilst we continue to stagnate. Even if there are hold ups for 5 years, they'll still be there before us the rate it's going...

Yet again, we've missed the boat.

So everyone should go out and dig an illegal trail in. Bigger impact the better, a few that spring to mind are Parliment House gardens, Victoria square and Adelaide oval

Nah, there are, and have been, enough trails put in already - both planned and 'ad hoc' shall we say - over the years (though new ones are definitely welcome...); there is enough riding happening on trails that we aren't allowed on - just ask any walker! - that we cause a 'nuisance'.

The difference is that NSW are actually acting on the feedback from both sides and trying to put something different in place to change that 'issue'; unfortunately, bar a few instances here and there, in SA, it is just talk and no action.

Can it change? Sure. Will it? hmmm... fingers crossed; I'll buy the brave CEO or Pollie that actually says 'yes' and pushes fwd a beverage of their choosing, though I reckon my $$ are safe for a while longer. Maybe next year, eh?

Will NSW change? Looks pretty likely. Will they have change before us? That, too, looks pretty likely. Good on 'em.

Got friends in Sydney - maybe I'll take the bike and visit them...
